Is there any real ranking or benefit of joining tech clubs like ACM, IEEE, IET in college?

People say ACM > IEEE > IET when it comes to tech clubs. But I’ve also heard from seniors that you don’t really learn much in these, and it’s mostly for resume value. Maybe a few clubs like Srijan, Aerosoc, Robolution are exceptions since they’re more hands-on.

So, is there actually any benefit to joining ACM/IEEE/IET, or is it better to focus on project-based clubs?
